
About Connor Gregory
Biography
Connor Gregory (b. 2001) is a composer and trumpet player from Spartanburg, South Carolina. He was accepted into the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities for his last two years of high school and received his Bachelor of Science in Earth & Environmental Science and Music as a double major at Furman University in Greenville, SC. While at Furman, Connor studied trumpet with Dr. Gary Malvern and Dr. Buddy Deshler, and composition with Dr. Mark Kilstofte, Jay Bocook, Dr. Peter Kay, and Dr. Dan Forrest. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Geology at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and studying composition with Dr. Amir Zaheri. Connor intends to pursue a Master of Music in Composition after his M.S. degree is completed.
